This 42,500 sf Public Safety Facility is the new headquarters for Dickinson Police and Fire Departments. This space boasts natural ventilation for an improved working environment, along with integrated system designs for passive heating and cooling, day-lighting, safety and other energy conservation features and technologies. Included in the project is a new 911 emergency dispatch center, a large training room for city services, computer forensics lab, I.D. lab, evidence intake and storage, evidence processing, gun and drug storage. In addition, there is a secure interior vehicle storage area and indoor vehicle processing room with a hoist as well as living facilities for up to 8 fire personnel plus a captain.
